As the Director of SMPP, Maggie provides strategic, data-driven direction for sexual misconduct prevention work in collaboration with staff and faculty at all five system campuses.
Maggie earned her doctorate in Sociology from the University of Kentucky where her research was focused on interpersonal violence, social inequalities, and intersectional research methods. Maggie has been involved anti-violence work in non-profit, government, academic, and administrative sectors for the past 15 years, and is committed to power-based violence prevention from anti-oppression, trauma-informed, and public health frameworks.
Outside of the office, Maggie is up for almost any outdoor adventure with family and friends.
